Massage products gently to the skin as long as your specific product recommends, usually from 30 seconds to a full minute. Then, rinse with warm water and pat your skin gently with clean towels. Follow with a hydrating mask, serum or cream.
When using exfoliant chemical, wash your face with ordinary cleaners. If your chemical exfoliant is present in the fabric or pad that has been moistened, apply the entire face, neck, décolleté, and even the upper part of your hand.
Leave a few minutes to peel chemistry completely absorbed into the skin before moving to the next step in your regimen, which may be a treatment serum or cream.
